AUDITION- Cast needed for series of indie films - NON-UNION, NO PAY, FREE FOOD!, FREE COPY! CREDIT. (Around Waukegan, IL)

Red Diamond films Inc. is producing a series of 3 different indie dv shorts for submission into film festivals and to be featured on Youtube.com. Possible entry onto the IMDB.com for participants. These films will be shot during every weekend in OCTOBER, and on Friday Oct. 12 in the am, the only week day.

WHERE:

Auditions will be held at The College of Lake County Grayslake Campus
19351 West Washington Street, Grayslake, IL 60030
Technology building, Room T326-8

WHEN:

Saturday, September 8th at 3pm-4pm, and Sunday, September 9th at 3 pm-4pm
These times are exact. If you arrive after 4pm the auditions will be over.

WHAT:
Bring 1 standard headshot and/or comp card, and 1 resume. Prepare to perform a 1-minute monologue.

FILMS BEING CAST (3):

Puppet

Synopsis: A mother is shocked when she finds out her young son is being abused.

Mom � Caucasian female, age � late 30s, any hair style/color
Tommy � Caucasian boy, age � older child who appears 8 or 9 ***(child must simulate knowledge of strong adult subject. Preserving innocence is a goal, so the child will not simulate gestures.), any hair style/color
Jake � Caucasian boy, age � 5 or 6, any hair style/color

Cuidado

*Spanish language film - English subtitles* - must speak fluent spanish

Synopsis: A cheating husband gets a rude awakening from his seemingly docile wife.

Husband � Handsome Latino man, shifty, thinks he�s suave, age � mid 20�s
Wife � Short, pretty, sweet, but plain Latino woman, age � mid 20�s
Theresa � Gorgeous Latina, very sexy, not mean, age � mid 20�s

The Cafeteria

Synopsis: A young female intern suddenly finds herself in a race against time as she tries to stop a terrorist from murdering innocent citizens.

Sarah � Caucasian female, Think; Sarah Michelle Gellar in glasses with OCD., very neat, very together , age � early 20�s
Beth � Female, any ethnicity, age � late 40�s
Business man � Caucasian male, very neat, tall, age � late 30�s
Group of Business men � Caucasian, Asian, Latino, and Black males, very neat, ages � late 30�s to mid 40�s
MANY EXTRAS NEEDED- Essential to this movie is the extras; they must be very eclectic ethnically; every race will be represented: Middle eastern, Asian, Black, White, as many different ethnic groups as possible.

CREW NEEDED for 3 films, NON-UNION, NO PAY, FREE FOOD, COPY, & CREDIT

OK.  So about 5 months ago, I, CEO, Nadia Garnier, moved to Waukegan, IL which is about 45 min. outside of Chicago!  It's a Day job adventure, but the Red Rock is on the move.  RDF inc. is now accepting submissions for Christian themed, feature length films, that can be shot no-low budget in Chicago.  Family friendly, and meaningful is the goal.  Please see the Contact Us section of this website for submission protocol.

If anyone caught that new movie "Step Up", you might have noticed that for exactly 5 seconds CEO, Nadia Garnier, made a cameo appearance behind actor Channing Tatum during the scene in which he is sitting in class at the non-musical school.  And a few other quick scenes at the non-musical school.

Yes.  He is as cute in person and friendly.

Ok.  So It took a lil' longer than I thought. LOL.  I was aiming for January, it's almost March, but Here she is, the New site, up, running, and better than ever. (Ain't she sexy?!)  Filming of the next feature-length project is on it's way.  It's called "Keeping It Together" and you can check out the synopsis etc. on the Movies section of this site.  When it's time for that casting call you all will be the first to know, but that will be sometime after March 24 when all principle filming in St. Lucia is done.  Yes, RDF Inc.'s first super remote location; The beautiful island of ST. LUCIA!  Y'all can read my suntan lines and weep when I get back.
